Katie Stix, LEED Green Associate, Interior Designer

A Maryland native, Katie Stix, Associate IIDA & LEED-Green Associate, graduated with a Bachelors in Interior Design from Marymount University where she excelled in rendering and space planning. Her relocation to Nashville in 2010 opened a world of design opportunities where she is constantly inspired by the creative energy of the city.


Katie’s design experience includes high end residential, commercial and
hospitality projects. She enjoys creating eclectic and inspiring environments that
are both beautiful and functional. Incorporating the history and charm of existing
spaces with updated technologies and modern forms are especially exciting and
she is always searching for new ways to interpret design. Her focus is to develop
strong client relationships and create a stimulating design experience.


Katie’s had the pleasure of working on Sinema Restaurant, the Dressing Rooms
backstage at the Ryman Auditorium and an on‐camera interview room at both the
Grand Old Opry and Cumulus Radio Station. Her projects include multiple lofts
and restaurants in Downtown Nashville, The Cleo Apartments in East Nashville
and various renovations and new construction homes.


Katie is a LEED Green Associate with a dedication to sustainability, continual
learning and progressive thinking. She is newly married to Seth Evans and
together they enjoy movies, music and travelling the world.
