Amy Scott is the Director of Business Development & Marketing at Anderson Design Studio. She brings 10+ years of experience in Public Relations, Marketing, Business Development, Urban Development, Advertising, Brand Management, Brand Strategy, Online Marketing and Management to the team.
She is a creative and strategic thinker who always contributes to the efforts of an energetic staff. Amy thrives in productive team environments, while also being able to work well individually. She has managed both international and national accounts throughout her career.
In Public Relations, Amy has worked with clients such as HGTV, CNN, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, Today Show, Regis & Kelly, Good Morning America, and Oprah. While being a part of the HGTV PR team, she found herself drawn to interior design and architecture. This lead her to joining a top interior architecture firm located in the northeast focusing on hotels, resorts, spas, residential high rises, corporate offices, restaurants, senior living, and education projects. She has received multiple awards through ARDA, Hospitality Design, Hotel Design, and Hotel & Restaurant Magazine.
Amy’s love of people and their connection to their city prompted her involvement with urban development. She worked alongside mayors, government officials, and developers to attract new residents to urban settings and became involved in organizations such as ULI, YULI, ARDA, DPB, BDC, and NEWH.
Always maintaining balance in her life, Amy enjoys yoga, biking, photography, fashion, art, traveling, architecture, music, and being outdoors whenever possible. She greatly enjoys time with family and friends, especially at the beach. Amy also stays active in several charitable organizations through volunteering and fundraising.
