Lizz Foster, IIDA, graduated with a Bachelors in Interior Design from Kendall College of Art & Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2008.
After graduating, Lizz spent several years in South Florida, successfully designing and project managing high end commercial corporate spaces, financial establishments, senior living communities, retail, and hospitality projects. With this substantial design experience, she developed a keen eye for the details of timeless design, creating spaces that are highly functional yet beautiful, tailored to the end users, and established strong client relationships.
Lizz grew up on a beef and dairy farm in Northern Michigan, and with her northern agricultural roots, is inspired by the natural environments in her surroundings. She uses natures charm and brings that same sense into her spaces by applying textures, patterns and color in unique ways. She relocated to Nashville in 2017 and is loving the beautiful rolling countryside that parallel the vivacious city life Nashville brings.
Her passion for restaurant and hospitality design brought her to Anderson Design Studio where she aspires for more innovative, environmentally responsible and aesthetically pleasing design solutions within each new project and client’s needs. Lizz is ecstatic to become more diverse in residential design with Anderson Design’s high end residential portfolio of exceptional clients. Outside of design, Lizz enjoys CrossFit and hiking with her boyfriend and their two dogs.
