Malee Ann Cherry, IIDA & LEED-AP

Malee Ann Cherry, IIDA & LEED-AP, is a Nashville native with 10 years of professional interior design experience. She attended Columbus College of Art & Design with a BFA in film and scholarships in art,video & graphic design. After living in Boston as a storyboard artist, she was inspired by the design of Rockwell Group and pursued her love of interiors & architecture at Parsons School of Design in New York City. She interned at the very firm that inspired her to change her career path and later worked at Adam Tihany’s Studio, Tihany Design.


In 2006, Malee moved back to her hometown and continued as an interior designer with Gresham, Smith & Partners and Hastings Architecture Associates. She recently joined Anderson Design Studio as Senior Interior Designer, taking her experience in Interior Architecture and applying it to ADS’s concept driven design environments. Malee has worked on a large assortment of projects from hospitality & retail to multi-family & commercial. Utilizing experience in film, art & interiors has inspired her holistic design approach and created a basis for her concept driven design.


A few projects Malee has worked on during her career: William Morris Endeavor in Nashville, 12|12 Condominiums, District Apartments in Brentwood, Hilton Garden Inn Nashville (Terrace Room), Hartmann Outlet Store in Deerfield NY, Provence Breads & Café at the Hill Center, Montgomery Bell Academy, Franklin Theatre in Franklin TN, Bellagio Casino & Resort in Las Vegas, One & Only Resort in Capetown Africa, Celebrity Solstice Cruise Ship Restaurant.
